Abstract:

In this talk, we consider the local well-posedness of skew mean curvature flow (SMCF) for small data, which generalizes the vortex filament equation in fluid dynamics. We are going to derive the modified Schrodinger system and prove the LWP for small data in H^s, s>d/2. This is based on joint work with Daniel Tataru.

Speaker Introduction

黄佳习,博士毕业于中国科学技术大学,在博士期间访问UC Berkeley的Daniel Tataru教授一年,现为北京大学数学中心“博雅”博士后。主要从事几何色散及相关方程的适定性研究,如双曲空间上的Schrodinger流,Ericksen-Leslie双曲液晶的小初值整体适定性等。成果主要发表在DCDS,CIMS等杂志。
