Title: The Quotient Problems for Entire Functions

Abstract: Let F(n) and G(n) be two linear recurrences. Bugeaud, Corvaja, Zannier, etc. studied the quotient of F(n) and G(n) as well as some special case of the GCD problems. We will give an overview of the recent development of related topics, and will also introduce the complex analogue.

Speaker Introduction: 郭骥2011年获得北京师范大学数学学士学位，2015年获得台湾大学环境工程硕士学位，2019年获得台湾清华大学数学博士学位，师从王姿月教授，并将到台湾数学研究所进行博士后研究工作。其研究领域是diophantine geometry 和Nevanlinna theory以及相关问题，例如线性递推数列的整除问题和最大公约数问题。2019年在Transaction of AMS和Canadian Mathematical Bulletin上发表了两篇文章，受邀在Vietnam-USA Joint Mathematical Meeting的special session上做了一次报告。
