报告摘要:In this talk, we consider the long time behavior of the MHD equations with small viscosity and resistivity coefficients. This is a typical setting in high temperature plasmas. If the initial velocity is close to 0 and the initial magnetic field is close to a homogeneous magnetic field, the MHD equations are globally well-posed and the long time dynamics of the system can be described by a linear diffusion-convection equation. In the case when the viscosity and resistivity coefficients are equal, I will present a very simple proof via the comparison principle.
