摘要:In this report, an improved smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) approach is developed to simulate 3D dam-break flows with breaking waves. In order to improve the computational accuracy and pressure distributions, the correction of kernel gradient and the introduction of Rusanov flux into the continuity equation are particularly implemented. Also, both wall and dummy particles are employed for modeling the complex solid boundaries in a flexible way. To show the ability of the improved SPH approach for solving 3D free surface flow problems, three challenging numerical examples including 3D dam-break flow against a vertical wall, against a cuboid obstacle, and against a cylindrical obstacle are numerically simulated and compared with available experimental data in literature. The convergent behavior of the numerical algorithm has also been studied by using different particle resolutions. It is demonstrated that the improved SPH approach is capable of handling with 3D free surface flows with large deformations and fragmentations accurately and stably, and even more important, also computing an accurate and fluctuations-free pressure field.

报告人简介 许晓阳,陕西理工大学副教授、硕士生导师,加拿大英属哥伦比亚大学访问副教授(employed)。主要研究方向:Naiver-Stokes方程的数值解法,计算流体力学,无网格SPH方法及其应用等。先后主持国家自然科学基金、陕西省科协青年人才托举计划、陕西省教育厅专项科研计划等5项,参与科技部973子项目等2项。以第一作者在CMAMECPCAMMJNNFMCMJEM等领域内一流期刊上发表10余篇SCI论文。2013年发表在CMAME上的论文入选 ESI高被引论文(全球前 1%)。担任CMAMEAMC10余种SCI期刊的审稿人。获“陕西省优秀博士学位论文”奖。
