摘要:In this talk, we introduce a discontinuous Galerkin (DG) method for solving the nonlocal diffusion (ND) problems. The key ingredient of the method is the introduction of an auxiliary variable, analogous to the classic local discontinuous Galerkin (LDG) method but with some nonlocal extensions. Theoretical analysis shows that the proposed semi-discrete DG scheme is $L^2$-stable, convergent and in particular asymptotically compatible. We also provide various numerical tests to demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of our method.

报告人简介:卢键方博士于2010年在中国科学技术大学获得理学学士学位,2016年博士毕业于中国科学技术大学,随后在北京计算科学研究中心做博士后。研究领域为计算流体力学和非局部方程的数值方法。
