报告题目：ON INVARIANTS OF CLASSIFICATION OF C∗-ALGEBRAS

摘要：Early in 1991, George Elliott proved that for simple AI algebras, the pair of functors (K0, T) is a complete isomorphic invariant. After that, successful classification results have been obtained for inductive limit C∗ -algebras for cases of real rank zero and simple. In my talk, I will review some classification results by using the so-called Elliott Invariant and Stevens Invariant. I will show some relations between these two invariants. For convenience of non-expert audiences, I will introduce many basic concepts of the classification theory of C∗ -algebras.

报告人简介:

     王琨，2014年于美国波多黎各大学博士毕业，师从国内外著名算子代数专家龚贵华教授。毕业后在加拿大多伦多大学做过一年博士后，于2015年8月到美国德州农工大学继续做博士后。主要工作有C*代数的分类及不变量之间的关系，Cuntz半群的表示以及C* exponential length的计算。
